The Obama Administration is trying to destroy our economy so his socialist policies are the only alternative. He is trying to destroy our military so we have to bow down to Russia and China on everything.

Glenn Beck's 5 principles pledge

** 5 PLEDGES **

1. I believe in a balanced budget and therefore will vote for a freeze in government spending until that goal is realized.

2. I believe government should not increase the financial burden on the citizenry during difficult economic times therefore I will oppose all tax increases until our economy has rebounded.

3. I believe more than four decades of U.S. dependence on foreign oil is a travesty therefore I will support an energy plan that calls for immediately increasing usage of all domestic resources including nuclear energy, natural gas, (of course OIL), and coal as necessary.

4. I believe in the sovereignty and security of our country and therefore will support measures to close our borders except for designated immigration points so we will know who is entering and why and I will vehemently oppose any measure giving another country, the United Nations, or any other entity (including CZARS - unapproved by Congress), power over U.S. citizens.

5. I believe the United States of America is the greatest country on earth and therefore will not apologize for policies or actions which have served to free more and feed more people around the world than any other nation on the planet.

6. I believe that the United States must remain the strongest nation possible, to be able to protect itself and its allies. To this extent, the United States should maintain and upgrades its defenses and defend its allies to the greatest extent possible, and refuse any attempts to defuse, dismantle, or water down these defenses.

CNN still fawning over Ted Kennedy (More so than Ronald Reagan)

Still fawning over Ted Kennedy, that is. Actually, I think we passed the "fawning" stage a few days ago - this has been going on 24/7 for the last 5 days straight - and have moved to the "cult of personality" stage.

How much coverage did Ronald Reagan get when he passed? A 1-hour special? At least he actually WAS a US President (and never killed someone)!!

Is this network acting on Ted Turner's direct orders to implement wall-to-wall coverage? Just makes no sense.

Anyone care to predict what day (or`week) this revolting garbage will stop?

He is right. Where was the wall-to-wall coverage for Ronald Reagan? All he got was his funeral and the procession on the CNNMSNBC, and that was all. (Remember that the Media was afraid that Reagan's death would give Bush a bump in polling numbers at that time)

Where is his superior officer? Or did the Police Union and/or liberal city council make him do this?
Aren't the cops supposed to follow the Constitution?

(BTW most cops are good and are conservative, especially officers and superiors in rural (Sheriffs) and small/medium city Police departments)
